What's it all about?

The Empty Shops Radio is a podcast service to inform and update the goings on of the Empty Shops movement all over the UK. Initially we are mainly concentrating on an event in Worthing, West Sussex that is taking place in an old Allied Carpet showroom. We will be broadcasting, via the Internet each day the store is open a highlight of the activities that is going on in mini shows of approximately 10 minute sin length. These can be listened to online via the website or downloaded as podcasts.

Who is it aimed at?

Really the broadcast is aimed at anyone interested in what is happening in the store, but also to other artists and makers who are possibly thinking of taking an empty project and wants to get a few hints and tips or just an idea of it works. The podcast medium is fabulous for hearing the enthusiasm and excitement of a project as it unfolds.
