The radio studio is a hit with the local teenagers who are interested in media and art. These two young ladies told me they attend Worthing College and are on a media course.
Glenys Laws from The Soap Box stops by to talk to us today and to explain about her unique charity that she has recently set up and currently promoting in the Up Market this run up to Christmas.

The girls have plenty of Scope for taking some Christmas money from all the interest in the event on Wednesday, the first day. They took cash minutes after the doors were offically opened. Way to go, girls!
The Worthing Lions were on form today with big grins for the camera as we opened the doors for the first day of the event. Can they keep it up for six weeks?
Dan Thompson, the top man from the Empty Shops Network is not sitting in an office smoking a pipe, he is hard at work building up the excitement for the new Worthing Up Market, the recent Empty Shops project opening this week. No time to smile, Dan, get hammering!

You are going to have to pop down see yourself the marvelous stuff on display when the Up Market store opens on Wednesday this week. It is already starting to look fantastic as exhibits start to be erected and the space are being filled.
We have 21 charities booked in over the next six weeks and each one will feature on the EmptyShopsRadio so that you can find out what things they are up, whats to look at purchase and even and how you can help
Earlier today I was in to check that we had sound working through the ceiling speakers and Dan and I were dancing to some 1960's Easy Listening music on my mp3 player. Great fun, it really brightened up the place. The music, not the dancing!
